Is this treatment right for me?
This treatment is great for candidates looking to decrease a pinchable fat bulge without anesthesia or downtime. It is ideal for people with small pockets of stubborn fat that are resistant to diet and exercise. It is an excellent option for those within 10 to 15 pounds of their ideal weight. CoolSculpting is best for people who want subtler body contouring.
However, CoolSculpting is not recommended for people with major skin laxity after massive weight loss, those with fat under their muscles, or those looking to lose weight. CoolSculpting will not work on internal fat, because it is too deep to be affected by the CoolSculpting applicator’s low temperatures.
How soon will I see results?
You will see results in as little as 4 weeks, however, maximum results are achieved at 4 months. We will have you return monthly for photos to watch your progress. Around 20% of the targeted area tends to be removed.
Is this treatment painful?
How often should I receive this treatment?
This will be discussed at length during your consultation after evaluation of the treatment area and discussion of goals. Most patients receive two treatments spaced one month apart. The same spot can be treated up to three times to reduce the unwanted fat fully.
How long will results last?
As long as weight remains stable, results are permanent. CoolSculpting freezes lipids in fat cells to kill the fat cells, and the body naturally removes them as waste. Once the fat cells are eliminated, they do not come back. The remaining fat cells can still swell, so lifestyle adjustments can aid in maintaining optimal results.
